Detention is a method by which God deals with us before we can be an authentic extension of him in the earth. While we wait, we must exercise by reading God’s Word. While we wait, we must not cause any further harm – even if that means being in isolated detention. While we wait, we must be careful of who we accept visitation from. We mustn’t entertain just anybody – because not everybody means us any good. They may merely stop by to gain just enough information to report the 411 on the outside. They may decide to slip you some illegal contraband to expedite a pseudo release but not one for your life, the life of your children and all those attached and assigned to you. While we wait, we must prepare for the day that we will have an opportunity to share our story, our narrative and our testimony. And when we speak, God will get all the glory!
